Lewisville-based CareView Communications Inc. has received approval from the U.S. General Services Administration to be included on its Multiple Award Schedule program, through which CareView can provide its products and services to Veteran’s Administration medical facilities, Department of Defense hospitals, and other federal agencies.
This approval allows the company to sell its video patient monitoring systems at a negotiated rate to the approximate 169 VA facilities with more than 39,000 licensed beds and the approximate 42 DOD hospitals with over 2,600 licensed beds.
The GSA’s Multiple Award Schedule is one of the most widely accepted government contract vehicles available to agency procurement officers.
“The GSA award is an important component to CareView’s overall sales strategy,” said Samuel Greco, CEO in a statement. “We are extremely pleased with the outcome of negotiations with the GSA and can now work to fulfill requests to provide services to military hospitals. The current interest from private hospitals, coupled with the new interest from VA and DOD hospitals, positions CareView as the standard of care in both sectors.”
