Plano-based AlixaRx plans to open a new pharmacy hub in Pennsylvania resulting in at least 65 new jobs. It has already leased a 12,500-square-foot facility that will provide pharmaceutical services to 38 skilled nursing facilities in the area.
The healthcare services firm will invest $1.4 million to purchase new equipment and train employees by next August.
The Department of Community and Economic Development granted AlixaRx $159,250 in funding for the project, which includes a $65,000 PA First grant, $29,500 in job training assistance, and $65,000 in job creation tax credits.
