Dallas-based Caddis Partners Launches Senior Living Brand

Caddis Partners, a Dallas-based healthcare real estate development firm, has announced the launch of its senior living brand, Heartis, which will be develop its first location in Cleburne.

“Our goal is to create a distinctive, unique brand that people will associate with the high-quality, high-value assisted living services and amenities that we will provide in our developments,” said Caddis Partners CEO and Partner Jason L. Signor in a statement.

Heartis, which got its name playing off the saying, “Home is where the heart is,” will be developed and owned by affiliates of Caddis Partners, with management being provided by Eugene, Ore.-based Good Neighbor Care. Good Neighbor Care has two decades of successful senior living management experience, and currently has operations in Texas and seven other states.

The first Heartis endeavor will be a 96-bed, 61,125-square-foot community, and will include 54 assisted living units with 61 beds as well as a dedicated 35-bed memory care unit. It will sit on 15 acres at 902 Walter P. Holliday Drive in Cleburne, a south Fort Worth suburb.

Heartis Cleburne is slated for completion by next summer, but that will be only the beginning, said Caddis executive vice president and partner Matt Mattox, noting that another Heartis is under development in the Fort Worth area, “Plus, we have six more communities under development and a goal of opening a total of 10 to 12 during the next 18 months.”

“These plans demonstrate our strong commitment to the Heartis philosophy and brand,” Mattox said, “as well as our dedication to building and operating home-like communities that will give seniors inviting new lifestyle options.”
