Becker’s Recognizes 6 North Texas Physician-Owned Hospitals

Six of the Becker’s Hospital Review 81 Physician-Owned Hospitals to Know are in North Texas. There are only about 240 in the United States: The ones on Becker’s list scored recognition from Truven Health Analytics, Healthgrades, The Joint Commission, Press Ganey, and CareChex. Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital (Dallas).

“Established in 2002, the Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital was the first hospital in north Texas devoted exclusively to the treatment of heart and vascular patients. In 2013, the 64-bed facility received Healthgrades’ Patient Safety Excellence Award for its work. It has also been recognized with Healthgrades’ Vascular Surgery Excellence Award for the last three years and the Outstanding Patient Experience Award from 2011 through 2013. Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital at Arlington 

“The 24-bed Baylor Orthopedic and Spine Hospital at Arlington, which opened in 2010, specializes in comprehensive inpatient and outpatient treatment of orthopedic and spine disorders, from simple strains to complex spine surgeries. It received the Joint Replacement Excellence Award from Healthgrades in 2014. North Central Surgical Center (Dallas)

Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery (Plano)
