The National Business Group on Health honored Baylor Health Care System last week as one of the foremost U.S. companies providing incentives for its employees to live a healthy lifestyle.
Baylor received a Gold Award for its ‘Thrive’ program, which created a bevy of wellness-related services and incentives for its employees. Participants monitor their progress through data and diagnostics.
“First and foremost, Baylor Scott & White cares about its employees and their well-being,” says Becky Hall, vice president, Health and Wellness, for Baylor Scott & White Health, in a statement. “The organization made the commitment to its employees several years ago that it would invest in their health.”
The Dallas-based system is among 63 other companies that were honored, which included Texas Health Resources. The National Business Group on Health is the lone nonprofit organization of large employers in America that is solely focused on improving health in the workplace.
