Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., an employee benefits consulting and brokerage operation headquartered in Itasca, Ill., appointed Frank Roby as its senior advisor overseeing healthcare network design.
Based in Dallas, Roby will deliver financial efficiencies to clients through creative design strategies for healthcare providers and hospital system networks.
Roby says after working with one of Gallagher’s customers, it became evident there’s a much broader application needed in the current healthcare marketplace.
“Variability is rampant, and the fixes that restore efficiency can be disruptive,” Roby said in a statement. “We believe advice has consequences and employers deserve to know the real cost of network inefficiency and the value of better design in their specific plan.”
Roby has 38 years of experience in the employee benefits industry. Prior to Gallagher, Roby established Averify, an analytics company focused on tracking healthcare network inefficiency and design. His work includes “supporting the healthcare technology needs of providers and employers,” and creating an investment firm focused on healthcare and education innovation.
