Texas Health Resources announced it will build an 80-bed, acute-care hospital in Frisco.
The city and its zoning commission approved the preliminary site plans last week. The hospital is scheduled to open in the third quarter of 2019.
The hospital is one part of a 20-acre project by Texas Health. The hospital building will be 325,000 square feet and include a 24/7 emergency room, surgical services, women’s services, and a neonatal intensive care unit.
In addition, a 120,000-square-foot medical office building on the site will house primary care practices and a multi-specialty clinic.
Financial terms of the project have not been disclosed.
