Methodist Southlake Hospital has named John McGreevy as its new president. He will assume his duties on March 30, replacing acting interim president Julie Stumberg.
McGreevy previously served as CEO at the Louis and Peaches Owen Heart Hospital for Trinity Mother Frances Hospitals & Clinics in East Texas. McGreevy also served as CEO of Tyler hospital operations at Trinity, overseeing the system’s 472-bed flagship facility.
In addition, McGreevy has been recognized for his work as CEO of Lubbock Heart Hospital, where he successfully orchestrated the $40 million construction of a new facility and recruited a new leadership team. The hospital was ranked by Healthgrades as No. 1 in Texas and among the top 5 percent in the nation for cardiac service.
McGreevy earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. He is a certified public accountant and a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
