Axxess, a home health technology company focusing on cloud-based software and services, has released an app for clients featuring OASIS documentation capability for mobile devices.
The app, titled AgencyCore, allows clinicians to secure comprehensive patient assessments while providing care. Using Axxess’ cloud-based software, users can document care offline and have it automatically sync when an internet connection is re-established.
Shradha Aiyer, director of mobile technology at Dallas-based Axxess, says the app enables clinicians to work from any device without constraints thanks to its user-friendly interface.
“[This] enables clinicians to complete documentation, while simultaneously interacting with patients and communicating with other members of their multi-disciplinary care team,” Aiyer said in a statement.
OASIS—short for Outcome and Assessment Information Set—is the instrument used to collect and report performance data by home health agencies. Its use is required by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services, which ensures compliance with Medicare standards for faster reimbursements. OASIS is highly time-sensitive and demands timely filing and accurate completion for patient information.
The app is HIPAA-compliant and also features electronic visit verification, patient charts, care plans, and communication notes.
