The Dallas office of Aetna, a diversified healthcare benefits company based in Hartford, Conn., has named two new hires for its national accounts executive team.
Matt Horn, who replaces Mario Di Blasi, has been named Aetna’s new sales vice president for national accounts. Horn will lead business efforts in Texas and Oklahoma by designing strategies aimed at achieving long-term employee benefit goals. Horn comes to Dallas’ Aetna office from the Kelsey-Seybold Clinic based in Houston, where he oversaw its marketing and sales division.
Kibuchi Banfield take on Aetna’s newly created position as sales executive for national accounts, working with customers that have 3,000 or more employees. Kibuchi previously served in sales and strategy roles in New York before moving to Dallas. In his new role, Banfield will also work with consultants and prospective clients in Texas, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma to develop new and innovative ways to deliver sustainable employee benefit solutions. Banfield also will be responsible for selling Texas Health-Aetna products, a partnership between Arlington-based Texas Health Resources and Aetna, to employers with a large presence in Dallas-Fort Worth.
