UT Southwestern Hospital and Clinics CFO to Take New Position in South Carolina

Beth Ward, the chief financial officer for UT Southwestern Medical Center University Hospitals and Clinics, is leaving Dallas to take on a new position as executive vice president and CFO of Georgetown, S.C.-based Tidelands Health.

She will succeed Terry Kiser and assume her new duties immediately.

Ward, who’d been with UT Southwestern since 2012, led the integration of all areas of the hospital and clinic operations. She also played a part in the hospital’s transition to the new, 460-bed William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital.

Ward has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare finance.
