The Dallas-Fort Worth Hospital Council has partnered with Plano-based ELEVATE340B, an auditing firm specializing in healthcare, and added the company to its leadership team. In this venture, ELEVATE340B will provide “savings optimization” programs and education for DFWHC’s hospital members through its system.
ELEVATE340B offers a savings optimization program for 340B-covered entities. According to the company, entities often face challenges controlling WAC (wholesale acquisition cost), GPO (Group Purchasing Organization), and Orphan Drug spending. ELEVATE340B services will provide monitoring and consulting for DFWHC to identify opportunities to “optimize 340B program drug purchases in a compliant manner.”
W. Stephen Love, president and CEO of DFWHC, says the partnership continues a long-standing DFWHC trend to team with select companies that provide valuable services to its members. “In this case, 340B hospitals could potentially receive great financial benefits,” Love said in a statement. “We consider partnership proposals on a weekly basis and realized almost immediately ELEVATE340B would be a valuable resource.”
