Addison-based Concentra, an occupational medicine and urgent care provider, has acquired Chicago Clearing Clinic, an occupational health and urgent care center. The acquisition includes 13 clinic locations in the greater Chicago area.
According to Concentra, it will assume Clearing Clinic’s operations while retaining its clinicians and staff members. Concentra plans to integrates its workers, moving employees in its headquarters around DFW to the facilities in Chicago. Clearing Clinic will now offer Concentra’s occupational medicine and immediate care/urgent care, physical therapy, and employer services.
Raad Yaldo, director of operations for Concentra and its vice president of medical operations for the Great Lakes Region, says the opportunity to expand in Chicago is exciting. Clearing Clinic “has an impressive team, and we look forward to working with them to advance the delivery of quality healthcare,” he said in a statement.
