A Tenet Healthcare-owned hospital recently named Dianne Goldenberg as its new CEO. Florida’s Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center hired Goldenberg from its rival hospital, HCA Corp.’s Aventura Hospital and Medical Center. Goldenberg replaces Jeff Welch in this position.
Before joining HCA Corp., Goldenberg served as CEO at other hospitals, including one of Tenet’s former hospitals in Broward County, Fla.
In her new role, Goldenberg is responsible for all hospital operations, executive planning, and medical services for Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center’s 199-bed acute care hospital.
Marsha Powers, CEO of Tenet’s Eastern Region, Coastal Division, says Goldenberg is valuable in this new position for her extensive knowledge of hospital operations, which totals more than 35 years. “With strong ties to South Florida, Dianne is highly committed to further growth and development at Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, and we are extremely delighted to have her as the hospital’s new chief executive officer,” Powers said in a statement.
Goldenberg earned her bachelors degree in nursing from Texas Women’s University and her masters degree in nursing from Barry University. She also earned an MBA from Nova Southeastern University.
