Dallas-based Staff One HR, a human resources managed services company, has partnered with Aetna, a diversified healthcare benefits company based in Hartford, Conn. The joint venture plans to offer a “master medical plan” to the U.S. healthcare marketplace.
According to Staff One HR, the partnership aims to provide human resources solutions and health insurance cost advice to clients and new members. With Aetna as a healthcare advisor and insurance and benefits provider, Staff One HR will now offer its clients plan designs with low, mid-range, and high deductibles.
The partners said they hope the medical plan will result in “greater [consumer] buying power and rate stability, which will minimize unexpected increases and help clients to better budget and manage their expenses.”
Staff One HR CEO Mark Sinatra said in a statement: “Partnering with Aetna provides our clients with the strength of a leading carrier that is also deeply experienced and committed to the professional employer organization industry.”
