Medical City Dallas has named Joyce Soule as its new chief nursing officer. She replaces Zach Mueller, who now serves as CNO of Medical City Healthcare.
In her new role, Soule will be responsible for overseeing and managing Medical City Dallas’ nursing department and its daily operations. Specifically, she will develop and implement hospital-wide patient care programs, policies, and procedures to improve patient care.
Soule most recently served as CNO at Wesley Medical Center, a 760-bed trauma center in Wichita, Kansas. Soul also oversaw Wesley Woodlawn, a 90-bed community hospital, two off-campus emergency departments, and hospital-based clinics.
Chris Mowan, CEO of Medical City Dallas, said in a statement: “Joyce’s proven track record of implementing positive change within healthcare, combined with her strong focus on patient satisfaction, equips her to effectively lead our nursing teams.”
Soule earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing and a master’s degree in nursing healthcare administration from Graceland University in Independence, Missouri.
