Addison-based Solis Mammography, an independent medical screening service provider, has named Dr. Alexander Sardina as its first-ever vice president and national medical director. In this newly created position, Sardina will support company growth by articulating strategy, implementing business tactics, and optimizing clinical success and financial performance. He will also lead Solis’ clinical innovation.
Sardina brings more than 20 years of healthcare experience to Solis. He most recently served as CEO and CMO for Houston-based Covia Health. Prior to Covia, he worked at Houston-based Bay Area Regional Women’s Imaging Center, specializing in diagnostic radiology.

Through his vast experience in healthcare, specifically in breast imaging, he brings a proven track record for delivering collaborative leadership, superb patient care and employee engagement. Sardina earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Miami and his medical degree from the Baylor College of Medicine.
