Texas Health Aetna, a Texas Health Resources and Aetna partnership, has added two members to its executive leadership team. Douglas Sanders will serve as chief sales officer and Dr. Delanor Doyle will serve as chief medical officer.
As CSO, Sanders will lead Texas Health Aetna’s sales team implementing partnerships with employer groups and brokers, in addition to managing the sales pipeline to stay on track with the organization’s membership goals.
Sanders most recently served as vice president of Children’s Health System of Texas. There, he created employer solutions, established strategic partnerships, and managed all accountable care organization operations.
Sanders earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Ark.
As CMO, Doyle will provide strategic direction for healthcare initiatives for the Texas Health Aetna joint venture and manage partnerships with health systems in North Texas.
He previously served as the senior medical director for accountable care solutions at Aetna. There, Doyle worked with clinical and administrative leadership for various provider networks and health systems to execute population health management initiatives.
Doyle earned his bachelor’s degree from The State University of New York at Buffalo. He earned his M.D. from Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, and his MBA from Mercer University in Macon, Ga.
Texas Health Aetna CEO Jeff Cook said in a statement: “With Doug and Delanor as part of our team, we are positioning Texas Health Aetna to ramp up our engagement with brokers and employers, and roll out new solutions that will benefit our members.”
