Medical City Fort Worth has named Dr. Terry Loftus as its chief medical officer. The new position was created to advise the hospital’s leading medical experts.
Loftus most recently served as president of Phoneix-based Loftus Health, a healthcare consulting firm. There, he educated and coached healthcare leaders on “how to successfully implement programs that improve the delivery of healthcare.”
Prior to Loftus Health, he was medical director of surgical services and clinical resources for Banner Health in Phoneix.
Loftus earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology and M.B.A. from Arizona State University. He earned his M.D. from the University of Arizona, and completed residency in general surgery at the University of Utah.
