Texas Health Resources has named Luanne Stout to the position of chief governance officer. She has served as the system’s vice president of governance since 2002.
Stout has more than 30 years of experience in healthcare governance, as well as in health and corporate law as a certified paralegal. She works with the Texas Health executive team to administer and coordinate governance and board operations for 27 boards of trustees across the healthcare system, including boards at the system level and at each wholly owned hospital, physician organization, foundation and other entities.
“Under Luanne’s leadership, Texas Health has a nationally recognized, gold benchmark-standard governance system that is well respected by health care peers and industry associations across the country,” said Douglas D. Hawthorne, chief executive officer of Texas Health Resources.
