Mark Montgomery, M.D., has been named the chief medical officer at Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Southwest Fort Worth. He joins Texas Health Southwest from St. Joseph Health System in Bryan where he served as senior vice president and chief medical officer.
“Dr. Montgomery’s extensive experience and capabilities are a definite asset to Texas Health Southwest and to the entire Texas Health system,” said Dr. Harold Berenzweig, executive vice president and Southwest Zone clinical leader for Texas Health Resources. “His experience and background will contribute to our ongoing efforts to engage physicians and other clinical leaders.”
Montgomery brings more than 30 years of combined experience in private practice and healthcare administration. He is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology. In his role at Texas Health Southwest, Montgomery will join president Joseph DeLeon, president, and chief nursing officer Mary Robinson to complete the hospital’s triad leadership model. He will work with hospital and medical staff leadership to promote clinical excellence and safety in patient care.
