Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery (THCDS) announced today that it has hired Kristie Clinard, RN, BSN, CNOR, as its new Chief Nursing Officer (CNO). Clinard recently served as the clinical manager in perioperative services at Children’s Health in Dallas. She holds an Associate Nursing Degree from South Florida Community College and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Phoenix. In late June, Methodist Health System hired Jan Arrant as the Director of Community and Public Relations for Methodist Richardson Medical Center. Arrant worked as a producer at WFAA for 12 years. Arrant was the executive producer for Texas Cable News. She also oversaw election night coverage and served as field producer.
Calvert Collins will be joining the team on July 27 as PR Manager for Methodist Health System. Collins has been a nightside reporter at Fox-4 since 2012, and she previously worked as a reporter in Las Vegas and Omaha. Collins will oversee public relations efforts for the four main Methodist campuses in Dallas, Richardson, Mansfield, and Charlton.
USMD Hospital at Arlington has named a new chief nursing officer. Laurie Lewis will begin immediately and will take over from CEO Marcia Crim, who was also overseeing all nursing operations. Lewis comes with more than 22 years of clinical experience, including a decade in roles dedicated to nursing leadership. She comes from Dallas’ Acuity Healthcare, where she worked as vice president of clinical and quality services.
