Moody Foundation Gives $15M Toward Creating Moody Breast Health Center at Parkland

The Moody Foundation has contributed a lead gift toward efforts to create a new breast health center at Parkland health and Hospital System. The foundation added $15 million to the pot, bringing Parkland to about $30 million of its $40 million goal. The center will be named the Moody Breast Health Center at Parkland. Parkland treats about 20 percent of the breast cancer cases in Dallas County, and the cases tend to involve patients that are younger and diagnosed at later stages of the cancer.
