The deadline for the first Health Wildcatters program, which begins in August, is fast approaching. The digital health seed accelerator will accept applications for its first 12-week class of entrepreneurs until July 15.
Executive Director Hubert Zajicek, MD, is co-founder of the accelerator. He previously was medical technology director at the Frisco technology incubator NTEC.
Health Wildcatters provides health startups up to $35,000 in seed money in exchange for 8 percent of equity. Up to 15 startups will be selected out of what Zajicek predicts will be at least 100 applicants.
