Medical City Frisco has completed renovations to its emergency department and will celebrate its reopening on June 3.
Medical City Frisco purchased the facility, located at 5500 Frisco Square Boulevard, last April, and invested $5 million to expand the emergency department. The upgrade included increasing the number of hospital beds and updating all medical equipment.
Additionally. Medical City Frisco reported an “emergency department parking lot was constructed to accommodate patients and EMS crews transporting patients.”
Charles Gressle, CEO of Medical City Frisco, says the hospital is growing to accommodating the growing city. “By expanding our emergency services we are giving the many families who live in the greater Frisco community more immediate access to quality, leading edge emergency care and treatment,” he said in a statement.
