Brentwood, Tenn.-based CleanSlate Centers, a national medical group providing chronic disease and addiction treatment, is opening its third Texas location Tuesday, in Dallas.
The company currently operates two other North Texas centers, in Arlington and Keller. According to CleanSlate, it’s expanding in DFW to battle the prevalent opioid and addiction abuse occurring in the area, and throughout Texas. Company data shows Texas ranks sixth among U.S. states for opioid-related deaths and accounted for $1.9 billion in healthcare-related spending to battle opioid abuse in 2015.
CleanSlate’s new, 5,500-square-foot location on Greenville Avenue will provide medication-assisted treatment programs to treat opioid and alcohol use disorders. The company told D CEO Healthcare the treatment programs are executed by licensed medical professionals that utilize a “holistic approach.”
CleanSlate President and CEO Gregory Marotta said the company will also “work closely with additional local care providers and partners to ensure patients get a full array of care that includes clear accountability and supportive counseling.”
Marotta added in a statement: “It’s impossible to fight this disease alone, and we are pleased to stand side-by-side with important community partners in and around Dallas. We look forward to deepening our relationships in the community as we all work together to beat back this undiscriminating epidemic.”
