Dallas-based AccentCare, which provides a variety of post-acute healthcare services, has expanded its 8-year-old home health joint venture with Asante, a health system based in Medford, Oregon.
An agreement between the two companies, effective Oct. 1, expanded their existing relationship to include Asante’s Ashland Home Health. It also created a preferred provider partnership with AccentCare that spans all of Asante’s service area.
“We are excited about our expanded relationship with Asante,” Steve Rodgers, CEO of AccentCare, said in a news release. “Asante has earned widespread recognition for patient care and shares our commitment to quality, compassionate healthcare in the home.”
Asante provides comprehensive medical care to more than 580,000 people throughout southern Oregon and northern California. Its facilities include Asante Ashland Community Hospital, Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center, Asante Three Rivers Medical Center, and Asante Physician Partners.
AccentCare, which offers services including skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and hospice and care management, boasts 20,000 professionals in more than 140 locations in 11 states with regional brands such as AccentCare of New York and Guardian Home Health & Hospice.
