Medical City Alliance has named Dean Miller as its new chief nursing officer. Miller, who starts Dec. 11, succeeds Judith Messer, who recently accepted the chief nursing officer position with Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. (Wesley Medical, like Medical City, is owned by HCA.)
Miller’s experience includes 12 years in healthcare, developing service lines and establishing patient, physician, and employee relationships.
A registered nurse, he joined Medical City Healthcare in 2010 as director of ICU at Medical City Arlington. He’s also served as associate vice president of critical care services and associate chief nursing officer at Medical City Denton.
Before joining Medical City Miller worked at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
“Although Medical City Alliance has only been open since February 2015, our patients have recognized us with patient satisfaction scores in the top percentage of all hospitals nationwide,” Glenn Wallace, CEO of Medical City Alliance, said in a news release. “Dean brings the experience necessary to help us build on this success and provide even more patients with nationally-recognized patient care.”
