CardioVascular Care Providers Signs New 20-Year Pact With Global Healthcare Alliance

CardioVascular Care Providers Inc., a pioneering network of nearly 400 integrated cardiovascular physicians that includes leading heart doctors in Dallas-Fort Worth, has signed a new, 20-year agreement with the Global Healthcare Alliance, which specializes in value-based care management.

Under the agreement, Houston-based CVCP—which operates as a financially and clinically integrated group offering cardiovascular services under prospective bundled pricing arrangements—will continue receiving GHA’s analytics, operating structure, and technologies.

One key offering of GHA is its value-based claims-adjudication technology called Axia, which automates the conversion of fee-for-service claims into a single bundled claim. Axia also facilitates payment for all providers based on defined contractual fee schedules, as well as management of the program’s shared financial risks.

Houston-based GHA serves more than 1,000 healthcare providers with advisory, administrative, and technology solutions. Among CVCP’s North Texas physicians are Dr. Richard Snyder of HeartPlace-Medical City and Dr. Shelley Hall of HeartPlace-Baylor Heart & Vascular, according to the CVCP website.
