The Southwest Transplant Alliance has a new executive to head up its day-to-day operations. Sandi Lemons has joined the Dallas-based organization as its chief operating officer. STA announced the news this week.
Lemons comes to STA from HCI, a private consulting firm she founded in 2017. Lemons was the president and principal consultant at the Milwaukee-based firm, consulting with more than 20 companies spanning healthcare, manufacturing, distribution, financial services, and information technology sectors.
Prior to that, Lemons was the vice president of Versiti Inc., a healthcare organization in Milwaukee.
She takes over for Burt Mattice, who retired from STA and is working as a consultant for Organ Procurement Organizations (OPOs).
