Texas Health Mansfield’s New Chief Nursing Officer

Kristen Sutton, will be the new vice president and chief nursing officer at Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. She is currently the director of critical care and house supervision for AdventHealth Wesley Chapel in Florida. She will be responsible for leading nursing operations and patient care for the hospital, which is set to open in 2021.

“Kristen has a love for people and helping others grow to achieve their potential which makes her a great fit for our people-centered culture,” said Texas Health Mansfield CEO Kenneth Rose via release. “This, in combination with her outstanding leadership and clinical skills, will be a great benefit to Texas Health Mansfield and its leadership team.”

Sutton has spent her entire healthcare career with AdventHealth, starting as a nursing technician and ending with a chief nursing officer fellowship completed prior to her move to Mansfield. She served as a nurse in the cardiovascular critical care unit, radiology, and a nurse care manager before moving into hospital administration. Her prior role in Florida entailed overseeing critical care operations, patient experience, safety and quality improvement.
