John Dragovits, former CFO and executive vice president at Parkland Health & Hospital System, has been named president and COO at Anthelio, a Dallas-based technology firm that serves hospitals, physician practice groups, and other healthcare providers. Dragovits brings more than 25 years of management experience to his new position. Prior to Parkland, he was vice president of Cerner Corp.
Shane Olivier has joined LHP Hospital Group as vice president of physician practice management. He previously served as vice president of physician services at HCA’s Delta division in New Orleans, La. Prior to that, he was vice president and chief development officer of physician and ambulatory services for Vanguard Health Systems in Plano.
Cathy Van Voorhis has joined Home Health Companions as director of business development. She brings more than 15 years of experience to her new position.
Amy Osborn has joined LHP Hospital Group as director of legal operations. She previously was a senior attorney with Children’s Medical Center in Dallas and, prior to that, an attorney with Rogaliner Law Offices PC, also in Dallas.
Marty Margetts has joined Irving-based Christus Health as vice president of human resources. She previously served as chief administrative officer at Tennova Health System, which is based in East Tennessee. Earlier this year, Christus Health announced it was relocating its headquarters to Las Colinas from several locations, a move that will fully wrap up in mid-2013.
Christopher Pyrek has joined Renal Ventures Management LLC as vice president of business development. In his new role, he’ll be responsible for the company’s De Novo growth and other expansion opportunities.
Dr. Charles Dell has joined Methodist Family Health Center College Street in Grand Prairie, a community in which he has served as a family practice physician for more than 37 years. Dell graduated from the University of Texas Southwest Medical School in Dallas and completed postgraduate training at Methodist Hospitals of Dallas.
Annie Green has joined Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale as director of emergency and cardiopulmonary services. She previously was director of emergency services and critical care at Hill Regional Hospital in Hillsboro. Green is a native of Australia, where she began her nursing career. She then worked in Saudi Arabia for several years before holding various nursing jobs at hospitals throughout North Texas.
Lillie Biggins has been promoted to president of Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth from her previous position as vice president of operations. In her new role, Biggins will be responsible for all administrative operations of the 726-bed, full-service hospital, which has been serving Tarrant County since 1930.
Janette Angus has joined Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance as director of human resources. Angus, who has more than 20 years of human resource leadership experience, previously worked at Sutter Pacific as the principal human resources business partner for Medtronic Cardiovascular.
