Leaders Celebrate New Texas Health Resources and Adventist Health System Mansfield Facility

Construction begins later this month for a $150 million, 95-bed community hospital in Mansfield, which should be complete by 2020. Around 200 community leaders celebrated with Texas Health Resources and Adventist Health System representatives this week at a kick-off event. Texas Health Mansfield will include a 24/7 emergency room, general surgery, women’s care, orthopedics, and interventional cardiology. Texas Health Resources’ hospital in Mansfield will be a joint venture with Florida-based Adventist Health System. It’ll cost $150 million and be called Texas Health Hospital Mansfield. Texas Health provided the extra details about its plans late last week, after reports earlier this month on the Mansfield City Council’s approval.
